Photo Privacy, AI Providers and Video Retention
How photos reach the model provider, how drafts and saved videos are retained, and how to delete your data.

Introduction
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our service.
What happens to your two photos?
Your browser prepares the photos and sends them to our server when you confirm generation. The server forwards them, with the story instructions, to the selected AI model service. The current service is named beside upload before you generate. The direct video pipeline uses the original photos as identity references and does not require a separate generated portrait stage.
The direct task stores settings, a request fingerprint, provider task information and the video location. It does not intentionally store the raw uploaded photos in the task database. The selected provider receives the photos and applies its own processing and retention rules. Use photos with the subjects' permission.
AI and infrastructure services
- Replicate: a supported model service. Its prediction API retention documentation says prediction inputs, outputs, files and logs are removed after one hour by default. Some models require a separate reference-photo upload through the Files API; Replicate's JavaScript SDK documentation states those uploaded files expire after 24 hours. Neither window is a deletion promise for a video saved in your account. Provider copies remain subject to the relevant API's retention rules.
- Volcengine Ark (ByteDance): another supported model service. Its task-query API documents access to the most recent seven days of task records. That query window does not establish a seven-day deletion guarantee for every uploaded photo or video. Provider retention follows its service terms and configuration.
- Cloudflare R2: stores completed video copies when video storage is configured. Stored videos are served through an authenticated endpoint rather than an automatic public gallery. Account and task records are kept in the application database.
- Configured payment services process purchases. Login, transactional email, analytics and support integrations may process the information needed for their configured functions.
Retention and deletion
| Data | Location | Retention and removal | | ------------------------ | --------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | | Photo draft | IndexedDB on this device | Expires 24 hours after the latest studio activity. Cleared when next opened, not by a background timer. Clear photos on this device removes the current draft immediately. | | Submitted photos | Selected model provider | Follows its retention policy. Clearing a draft does not recall an already submitted job. | | Saved video | Our configured storage and your account | No scheduled expiry. Retained until you delete it or account-data deletion is processed. | | Provider-hosted video | Model provider | May expire under its policy. Provider URLs are not permanent archives; download promptly. | | Task and billing records | Application database | Media references and settings are cleared on video deletion. Minimal identifiers, status, dates and credit-accounting records remain for billing and support. Wider deletion requests are handled through support. |
For older portrait-preparation tasks, prepared character images or different metadata may have been retained. Request removal of legacy media through support; clearing the current direct-video draft does not remove all historic media.
How to delete your data
- Draft photos: use Clear photos on this device in the studio. Other studio drafts can be cleared on their respective pages, or by clearing this site's data in your browser. Clearing browser data does not delete account videos.
- Saved video: sign in, open My videos, choose Delete video and confirm. Available after generation and saving finish. This removes account access, our stored video copy and task media references. Download anything you want to keep first. Deletion does not refund credits.
- Provider copies or wider account data: contact support with the task ID or account email. Local deletion does not promise immediate removal of copies controlled by a provider. Requests are reviewed against provider capabilities and applicable obligations.
Do not attach original photos or full card details to an ordinary support ticket. No uploads are automatically added to a public gallery.
